About This Course
This course is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to monitor the security of a network through the use of Nagios, an open source network monitoring tool.
During the course, participants will learn how to configure and customize Nagios to monitor a variety of services and systems, including web servers, databases, and email services. In addition, advanced techniques for developing custom security policies, alerts, and reports will be covered to ensure early detection of potential security vulnerabilities and threats.
Requirements
In order to get the most out of this course, a prior knowledge of networking and operating systems is required, as well as a basic understanding of information security concepts. Also, it is recommended to have previous experience using network monitoring tools.
Participants must have a computer with an Internet connection and an operating system compatible with Nagios. Detailed instructions for installing and configuring Nagios will be provided during the course.
